Job Description
Position Objectives:
A Graphic Designer is the creative spirit leading creation of visual communication materials including but not limited to logos, marketing materials and advertising. Work with clients to identify business objectives, create strategies and implement them with a range of design, advertising, branding and marketing projects.
Position responsibilities/accountabilities:
Work under pressure and meet deadlines
Communicate internally with concerned parties to determine layout designs and implementation procedures
Design all print media in coordination with Management
Understand brand identities
Stay up-to-date with latest design software and current trends in commercial artwork
Produce new ideas and concepts for company logos, websites and event logos
Shooting and editing professional photos and videos
Review final layouts and suggest improvements
Review designs for errors prior to printing/publishing
Liaise with external suppliers to ensure deadlines are met and the job is finished to the highest quality
Estimate time required to complete a project to enable quote pricing for clients
Manage client proposal from typesetting, design and printing to final production
Skills/Essentials:
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Graphic Design or related field
Mastery of After Effects, Advanced Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
Experience in HTML & CSS
Skilled at working in a Mac or PC based environment
Detail oriented
Well organised and motivated to work even under stressful, deadline driven conditions
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Excellent design skills and premium brand sensibility
Have the ability to come up with creative concepts and execute artwork primarily on digital and social networks
Multi tasking ability
Problem solving ability
Examples of adding value as both an individual contributor and active team member
Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals
Fluency in English and Arabic preferred
